I’ve been using Premier Concrete Bricks for over 10 years and they are terrific. First of all, they go up really fast and they always look great. Because of the way they are made, I find I use a lot less mortar to lay them compared to using Clay bricks. This results in a substantial cost saving of between $300 and $1,500 on a job. I’ve always found that Premier Bricks are very consistent in their colour, shape, and size. That makes my life a lot easier. With Clay bricks, the colour can be noticeably different from one pallet load to the next. And often Clay bricks can be twisted or warped as well. Another advantage of using Premier Bricks is the great service I get from their team. If we need to move a delivery date forward or back, the team at Premier Brick bend over backwards to try and make it happen. They are always in touch to see how things are going for me. I don’t get this level of personal service from any of their competitors. Which is why 96% of the bricks I lay are now Premier Bricks.

I’ve been using Premier Bricks for over 10 years. I like the uniformity of the Premier Bricks compared to clay bricks from other suppliers which are often bowed. I also like the size of the Premier bricks as well.

I’ve been using Premier Bricks in our home building business for about 18 months. I really like the quality and trueness of their concrete bricks. They are way better than clay fired bricks from other suppliers. My block layer loves it every time we use Premier Bricks over other bricks. With other bricks, the clay fired ones tend to get warped or twisted so they are not as accurate as the Premier Bricks. This leads to an unsightly shadowing effect which is never nice to look at. We never have this shadowing problem when we use Premier Bricks. One of the big benefits from using Premier Bricks instead of other types of bricks is that it saves a lot of wastage. When you have clay bricks, they often have chips and marks on them. Or some of them will be twisted and warped. So you end up with a lot of bricks you can’t use. Which means you might have to buy another pallet of clay bricks to finish the job. Or you might have to order an extra pallet of clay bricks at the start of the job to allow for this wastage. That is not very cost effective. And having a lot of faulty clay bricks left over is definitely not good for the environment either. I know that when we built my own home, we had another company build it for us. And we had three pallets of faulty clay fired bricks left over. This is where Premier Bricks are so good. You order the Premier Bricks you need for a job, and you know that it is extremely rare to have any faulty bricks in your order. This means you have very little wastage on a job. Another thing I really like about Premier Bricks is their honesty around delivery dates and times. When we are busy, we programme in a lot of things that need doing on the homes we build. One of these things is the delivery of the bricks that we might need. With Premier Bricks the date they give us for delivery is the day they make the delivery. They don’t give excuses about why they can’t deliver on a date. Instead, they just do what they said they would do. If they say our bricks will be delivered on August 20, we know that on August 20 the bricks will arrive. Along with the mortar that is needed. This means we don’t have to worry about it or follow them up. We know it will just happen when promised. Premier Bricks are definitely one of our most trusted suppliers.

“We have been using the services of Premier Brick in our landscaping business for about a year now. First of all, their products are good. In fact, we like their products in general so much so that we are going to stock them in our landscape yard. However, what we really like about Premier is their customer service and attention to detail in looking after their customers. If we ever have any issues Premier Brick resolve them very quickly. I’ve been using Premier Brick for around 10 years. I really like the bricks they supply. You know exactly what you are getting, and the sizes are always the same. This means there is very little wastage. If you every have a problem, Premier Brick are the first ones to call you back or the first ones to call on site. And they instantly sort out any problems. The concrete bricks that Premier Brick supply are pretty much ‘Fail Safe’. Especially when you compare them to Clay Bricks from other suppliers. I find that clay bricks often have misprints with lines going through them. On a job we are doing right now (with clay bricks) we are having to pick up 20 of these bricks to get 2 good bricks that we can actually use. There are over 600 clay bricks that are no good. Clay bricks are often wet through as well. In fact, they are often so wet that we have to stop laying them by 2pm. That’s why we prefer using the concrete bricks from Premier Bricks. We built the Brethren Church in Warkworth using the large size Premier bricks. There were 80 full pallets of concrete bricks on this job. It looked beautiful and we had no problems with any of the bricks. Another thing I love about Premier Bricks is the packaging they use when they stack the bricks on the pallets. They put a protective sheet in between each layer of bricks and this stops any scratching and travel rubbing. They even recycle these protective sheets as well which is a nice touch. Other brick suppliers don’t do this because it takes time and effort to do. However Premier Brick are happy to do things like this that are good for their clients even if they take time. Last of all I love the great service we get from Premier Brick as well.

We’ve been using Premier Brick for around 8 years now. One of the things we like about them is their range of unusual brick sizes. The bricks they offer look stunning on many of the homes we have designed. Many of the group home builders use bricks of standard sizes, so being able to use bricks of different sizes and colours allows home designs to stand out from more ‘run-of-the-mill’ homes. Premier Brick don’t just offer a good range of bricks though. They also have terrific support surrounding their products. This means that anytime we have a question, or need to know something we can contact Premier Brick and get a fast response. One of the big benefits of using Premier Bricks is that we are able to design homes using their products that stand out and get noticed. One particular home we designed is a normal shaped house, however we used the Premier Estate brick and stack-bonded it to create a unique design. As a result, everyone who sees this home comments how great it looks. Brick is often perceived as the best all-round cladding system in NZ. It is durable, easy to clean, doesn’t require painting, fire resistant and needs very little maintenance. Using the right bricks, in the right place can make a simple home look amazing. Premier Brick makes it a lot easier for us as Architectural Designers to design amazing homes for our clients. We love their great products and fast service.

We have been using Premier Brick for five years now. The first thing I like about them is that they are a New Zealand owned and based company. So everything is made locally. That’s a real positive for us. As many other bricks are made overseas. The next thing I like about Premier Brick is that they are a fast moving and innovative company. And often come up with new products. I love the fact that all the people at Premier Brick are happy and positive. This makes it a pleasure to do business with them. A great benefit is that the bricks they offer are a clean lined architectural product which is readily accepted by a lot of our customers. This means that the bricks from Premier Brick are more popular than bricks from other suppliers because they look better. Premier Brick are super responsive and customer focussed. I like that there is a real consistency when it comes to dealing with their team. So, you get to have the same people looking after you for a long time. This is really helpful from our viewpoint. A good example is I’ve had the same rep at Premier Brick for two and half years over a number of different house projects. (This is not that common and makes my life a lot easier.) In summary it’s pretty simple. “Premier Bricks have Great Products Good People and Excellent Service.”

“I’ve been using Premier Brick for around 3 years. My main point of call at Premier Brick is Matt and he is very on the ball. He always gets back to me really quickly if I text or phone him. The lines of communication are really good and if there is an issue he makes sure it is sorted out really quickly. (I have dealt with other paving slab manufacturers In the past and you don’t often get the same swift response from them that you always get from Premier Brick.) Premier Brick are very easy to deal with and their deliveries are always hassle free. The personal touch from Matt is great and we know, if we have any issues, there is always someone on the other end of the phone who will sort it for us. In other words, Premier Brick “work with me” and make my life easier. The communication from their office is really good as well. In fact the whole business is a slickly run machine.
