Sustainability

Premier Group (‘PGNZ’) is committed to developing sustainable business practices in its manufacturing and distribution processes, which is an important step for the long-term integration of sustainability.

Our vision is to be a global organisation that is socially and environmentally responsible, that embraces diversity and innovation in its approach to sustainability. Production efficiencies, alternative fuels and new technologies have been introduced to ensure PGNZ understands and minimises its carbon footprint.

PGNZ approach to reducing the overall impact of the concrete paving and landscaping environment on human health and the environment by:

Efficiently using energy, water, and other resources;

Protecting occupant health and improving employee productivity;

Reducing waste, pollution and environmental degradation.

Green buildings refer to both a structure and the application processes that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout a buildings life-cycle. PGNZ’s focus is to support and complement the Green Building practice.

We are committed to incorporating sustainability into our practices from our manufacturing to distribution. This includes the recycling of surplus raw ingredients, water and leftover concrete through to occupancy health and employee productivity.

PGNZ endeavours to ‘give back to society’, which evokes trust among consumers, employees, shareholders and the community. Our contributions in these areas are a very tangible part of PGNZ. As well as our performance and strategic forecasting, PGNZ also includes its expectations for community contributions. We seek to understand the future implications of our actions by focusing on the economic, social and environmental impacts of our business.

By keeping its manufacturing and production on-shore, PGNZ indirectly supports the prosperity of employment rates and boosts the micro- and macroeconomic state.

We understand the need to create and promote a more sustainable environment for us all; keeping New Zealand clean and green.
