Motivational Monday Volume 198! How to create a life worth living!

Imagine you’re eighty years old.

You have diligently worked all your life to pay the bills and take care of your family. And now, your days go by watching TV, taking medicines, and wondering why your grandchildren won’t get off the phone and talk to you.

Does that scenario terrify you?

It should!

Here are two tips to create a life worth living.

Tip 1: Create Meaningful Relationships

Tony Robbins once said, “the quality of your life is the quality of your relationships.”

In order to enjoy life and feel alive, we need to nurture our relationships.

You need people who accept you with all the imperfections and still love you for who you are.

These relationships can come in many forms, including your friends, co-workers, family, and romantic relationships. Seek out those with who you think you can develop a deep, rewarding relationship.

This also means that you need to learn how to be a good friend so that these relationships can flourish. That means listening, being honest, and treating others with respect.

If you feel yourself not caring about what a friend has to say, you might need to re-evaluate if the relationship is for you.

People want to be loved and cared for as well, so if you aren’t willing to give 100 percent into the relationship be kind enough to walk away.

Tip 2: Let Go of Grudges

Do you have someone (or a few people) in your life that you are angry at for something they did to you? It could have been something your boss said last week,
or your high school bully from decades ago.

It’s finally time to be a bigger person and forgive them for what they have done.

If you want to feel alive, you need to let go of the ugly weeds you planted a long time ago.

It only sucks you dry of happiness, motivation, and freedom.

Truly let go of what happened, and forgive the person who has done wrong to you because that incident or person is not worth wasting your feelings on.

Move forward and don’t let that thing from the past ruin the happiness of your present.

You deserve an exceptional life.

Life is too short for excuses. Stop settling.

Take Action:

Start today and create a life that you are proud to have.
