Sustainability
What we make matters, and so does how we make it. We’re focused on using resources with care, reducing waste and finding practical ways to give materials another purpose.

Making better use of what we have
Products that don’t meet our first-grade standards don’t necessarily go to waste. Where possible, they’re rumbled, repurposed or crushed for reuse, while suitable packaging and returned products are given another purpose.
We continue to review how we use materials, water, energy and packaging, looking for practical improvements that reduce waste and make sense for the way we manufacture.

Durability matters too. We manufacture products designed to perform over time, with materials and processes chosen to deliver consistent, lasting results. Because making better use of resources isn’t only about reducing waste during manufacture – it’s also about creating products made to stay in place for years to come.
Values that lead us
Reduce
We look for practical ways to reduce waste across our manufacturing process, from recycling washdown water to making more considered use of materials, energy and packaging.
Reuse
Materials are given another purpose wherever possible. Concrete can be rumbled, repurposed or crushed for reuse, while suitable packaging and returned products can be used again.
Rethink
There’s always an opportunity to improve. We continue to review how we manufacture, use resources and manage waste to find better ways of doing things.
Last
Durability is part of the picture. We manufacture products designed to perform over time, reducing the need for unnecessary replacement and making better use of the resources that go into them.
